Saving a File

When you have added the modification markings to a drawing, you can save the drawing as a Vertex Red Pen file (vxr). The original drawing file will remain.

Save the drawing as a Vertex Red Pen file as follows:

1. Do one of the following:
   • Select the File> Save File As function from the menu bar.
   • Press the Ctrl+E keys.
2. Confirm the default directory or select another directory as the file's saving location.
3. Click the button Save.

• The default folder is VXVIEW/picts. You can select another folder with the common Windows dialog box functions, or from the Directory list. Click the Go button to activate the selected folder.
