Sending Projects as E-mail Attachments

You can create compressed files of selected project folders, and attach them to a new e-mail message. Using this function requires that a separate e-mail program has been installed on your computer.

1. Select Send Projects By Email.
2. Select the projects to be compressed in a dialog box. You can sort projects by name, date, saving location or description by clicking the headers. Select several projects by holding down the Ctrl key. Each project is compressed into a VXZ file of its own.

3. Click OK.

   The program compresses the projects to VXZ files. The VXZ files are named according to the projects, for example Project_1.vxz. The program opens a new e-mail message with the compressed files attached to it.

Note

• If you are using a browser based webmail, you can compress a project to a VXZ file using the function Saving an Open Project to VXZ File or Saving Projects to VXZ Files. In this case, you can select the folder in which you want to save the compressed file. Attach the compressed file to an e-mail message using the webmail's own function.
